Calf rearing This area involves study of calf rearing from birth to weanling stage. There is special emphasis on proprer feeding before weaning to ensure good rumen development.

The Replacement Heifer Here we study the charactereistics that are desirable in a replacement heifer and the rearing of the heifer over the two years until she calves at 24 months
